Can be defined as appropriate, responsible, and safe behavior on the internet. It is important that we all treat each other with respect on the internet as we do in person. Just like the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated with respect and kindness. Before you post anything think about whether or not you would share it with your grandmother. These are just a few thoughtful and helpful tips when becoming a digital citizen. We follow the Marshall Way at school and it is just as important to do so on the world wide web. It is important for students to realize that they may already have created a digital footprint that their future selves may regret.
